Vista Home Premium - security center icon gone.?
One day, i noticed that my security center icon in the tray was at "risk" status; however, when i opened the security center, everything was green and nothing's listed as a problem. I then closed out the icon in the tray to see if reopening it would get it normal. The problem is that i can't get the icon back now.
To try to get it back, I went to Security Center -> Clicked on "Change the Way Security Center Alerts Me" -> Choose "Yes, notify me and display the icon"... and nothing happened.
I've tried rebooting several times. Shut my machine down. Choose option again. Nothing. I wonder if there's some virus, but after scanning w/ my Trend Micro, there was no virus either. Thoughts? Thx!
Security Center icon will appear in the taskbar systray only when there is a problem with either or all of (1) Firewall, (2) Automatic Updates, and/or (3) Virus Protection.
