I'm sitting here in Key West with tears of sadness rolling down my cheeks. My beloved Murphy, my very best friend for the last 15 years of my life had to be put to sleep today. He was being looked after by my Brother, Andy, who loved him just as much as me, whilst I was away. He became ill on Monday and at the tender age of 15 years he wasn't able to fight back.

He was the greatest dog in the world and at the moment it doesn't seem like life is worth living. I just wanted to say goodbye to him and I couldn't.
